Insight: Nestled along Gordon Road in Durban, there’s a charming coffee shop in which I found myself spending a lot of time. Skyline Coffee Roasters is a hub for many creatives, athletes, freelancers and businessman with its monthly art exhibitions, refreshing outdoor space and cozy interior.
Idea: In 2021, as I absentmindedly sketched on my iPad, the opportunity arose to contribute to a new mural planned for the outdoor space. An initial concept was already brewing, waiting to be translated into a tangible design. The best part? I got to be involved in bringing it to life by assisting the artist and refining the details to match the illustration.
